The Len Pounder Benefit Gig - Sunday 6th May

A very big thank you to all the artists who took part, without payment, in making the evening something very special for Matthew and Rebecca. Not forgetting the audience and management who gave generously to a very good cause which added up to £2000. I am sure Len would feel very humble at the amount of friends, including all the musicians, that turned up in his memory, so many that `House Full` was put on the door by 10.30pm. I am sure he was with us, in many ways, and shall never be forgotten. Not forgetting Steve Jones, Len`s closest friend, who put his heart and soul into making this special night happen.

Queen Mania Fri. 25th May - returning September 28th

As those of you who arrived at The Roadhouse Venue on Friday 25th May will know Queen Mania were without their `Freddie Mercury` front man and lead vocals due to Sonny Ensabella being taken into hospital with throat infection and high temperature. We were a little worried as to how the stand in front man would cope but between the band and temporary frontman Andrea Govoni they were fantastic, well done Andrea ! A big `BRAVO` to them all. However all is not lost as they will be returning in September, with Sonny Ensabella to entertain us as only Sonny could, check out their web site and new video to confirm that through Sonny `Freddie` lives on.
